Do you know exactly what you want? If so, that’s great. But if you’re not sure, that’s fine too. We’ll always be happy to guide and help you arrive at a clear understanding of what will suit you best.
Our own in-house architect and CAD technicians are there to do just that. With CAD drawings in 2D and 3D using building information modelling (BIM), we can guide your decisions about your building from the initial concept right through design and construction.
We can help you achieve the optimum layout and the best use of space. We’ll add in our expert understanding of building regulations – covering areas like energy efficiency as well as structure and fabric.
And once we’ve refined and agreed a well thought out design with you, everything else follows clearly and logically… including accurate costing to make sure that nothing gets missed.
Fit Out and Refurbishment
How do you want your building to be fitted out? We provide a full interior service including drywall partitioning, suspended ceilings, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating and flooring. We can also carry out exterior work – overcladding for example. It can all be done either onsite or at our own yard, and always in line with a clear specification and cost agreed with you..
Then there’s refurbishment. If your modular building’s looking tired, needs a repaint, or your carpets are wearing out, just give us a call. It often doesn’t take much to create a fresher, more modern and positive working environment.
How about when you no longer need your unit? We hate seeing used buildings simply demolished and sent to landfill. Fortunately, many clients are happy to benefit both from the environmental and cost attractions of buying or hiring a second hand unit. For them, we strip back an existing unit so we can refurbish and refit it for a new application within the same shell.
It’s an unfortunate fact of life that even the best buildings need maintaining. Rain, sunlight and cold all take their toll. Gutters and downpipes get blocked. Building fabric can get damaged. Doors sometimes need easing. Air conditioning, air handling, gas boilers and electrical equipment all have to be regularly tested, serviced and certificated.
Whether you’ve bought or hired your unit, we can help you keep it up to scratch and working effectively – as well as fulfill your duty of care for your staff.
Our maintenance and repair service is tailor-made for modular accommodation, covering virtually everything that modular buildings need. You can call on our large stock of spare parts and our close links with manufacturers for sourcing spares and materials. We’re always available at short notice to react fast to any issues.
Groundworks, erecting and installing – Planning. A large part of our work is for large construction companies, accommodation manufacturers and plant hire companies. We regularly put in foundation pads for modular buildings – a highly skilled job depending on size, height and load – as well as taking care of transportation to site and crane lifting operations. Our skilled and experienced workforce has all the necessary qualifications to erect and install, including working at height and connecting services.
Dismantling and removal – Here again we provide a complete dismantling and removal service, including all the planning. Our expert workforce is fully qualified to carry out quick, safe and professional dismantling operations should you no longer need your temporary building.
Relocation – Relocation can be a testing process. It normally involves teams working at two different locations at the same time, sometimes hundreds of miles apart. It also often means being away from home for long periods while managing client relations, labour, plant and haulage. With successful experience in all these issues and the right numbers of skilled workers, we confidently carry out this type of work all over the country.
Dismantling and removal – Once you no longer need your temporary building and if it has no residual value, our expert workforce is fully qualified to carry out quick, safe and professional dismantling and removal – either on or off site. Our complete service includes all the planning and logistics.
On site demolition – Sometimes it isn’t possible to demolish a building on site – perhaps because of security restrictions or environmental considerations. In these cases we can crane it offsite, transport it to our own yard and demolish it there. We recycle and stream the waste in a responsible way to keep landfill to an absolute minimum.
Something to sell? – If you have a container or even a modular building that you no longer need and are thinking of disposing of, do let us know. It could well have a residual value – and we’ll be happy to help you assess it. We can tap into our contacts in the industry to find a potential buyer. And we often buy surplus units ourselves or remove them at our cost.
